I am the President of Wahlstrom & Associates, a plaintiff oriented settlement firm that specializes in mass tort cases, 468b trusts, non-qualified annuity business and structured sales. I have been a settlement broker since I founded my first firm, New England Settlement Advisors in 1981, which was transitioned to Wahlstrom & Associates when I shifted my practice from a defense orientation to a plaintiff only firm in 1986.
I have developed an expertise in the area of mass torts and multi-claimant litigation, primarily through the creation of a unique application of 468b trusts in this litigation. Additionally I have a specialization in structured legal fees and non-qualified annuity business, cases which I have settled again using 468b trusts on multiple litigant cases.
My firm is open to working jointly with brokers from around the country who wish to utilize some of the intellectual property and materials we have developed in mass torts and multi-litigant cases.
Additionally I am the co-founder and Chairman of The Legal Broadcast Network, the nations premier online broadcasting and media platform for lawyers, financial professionals and law school students and professors. We are an "open platform" and our shows and commentary will run the full spectrum from defense orientation to plaintiff issues and everything in between. We offer a full range of blogs, channels, internet marketing and broacast options.
